Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Breathing in I smile

Breathing in I smile,
breathing out I relax
This is a wonderful moment
(Three Breath breathing exercise from "Essential Spirituality"
by Roger Walsh

breathing
is at the center of life
there is no life
without breath

yet
we can go through a day
rushing
worrying
producing
and never once think about breathing

it is not that we don't think
we think a million thoughts
our heads are agitated and fragmented
our mind
the Buddhists say
is like a crazy monkey leaping erratically from branch to branch

thank God for breath
thank God, that when we take the time
not just to stop and take a deep breath
but think about
that breath
to celebrate its mystery
its beauty

thank we can breath in all the
mystery of the earth
and life
and find
peace

Breathing in I smile
breathing out I relax
This is a wonderful moment
