Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

In the Darkness

I sit
in the quiet of deep night
in the intense space
 just before the dawn

i stare out the windows
which stare
back at me
like hollow eyes

and there is nothing there
no sense of
the world that lies there
silently
waiting for the sun
just blackness
nothing to be seen
then slowly the blackness softens
small patches
of steely gray
reveal
vague shapes
a sense of space
then finally
dawn comes
creeping through the
trees
infusing the black and gray world
with color and
shape
definition
sometimes
it seems like life is stuck
in that dark world
just before dawn
and then
like a light in the darkness
love
wisdom
hope
God

comes

to light my path
and create a new day
