Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Melting into the Divine

The sacred is the only one we can surrender to
Without losing ourselves (Richard Rohr)

__________________________

Early morning
dark skies
on the streets of a city I do not know

I am alone
prowling the sidewalks
greeted occasionally by the bright eyes
of a car easing cautiously along streets slick with frost

it is a time to breathe
and with each breath
find my way inside to that place
where God is

and there surrender
to the presence
of that which is sacred
that which is love

it is time to lose myself
to melt into the divine
and in that losing
in that dying to self

find
self
life
love
everything
