Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Thawing the holy

And God is always there, if you feel wounded.  He kneels
over this earth like
a divine medic

and His love thaws
the holy
in us
Teresa of Avila (From the poem “When the Holy Thaws)

This world is full of seekers
those who would find the Sacred

this world is full of the wounded
those who have been ripped and torn by life

this world is full of people who are bewildered
and look with confusion on
the world around them
and cannot
cannot
understand

this world is full of those
who feel affronted
who believe that all are against them
and live in anger

the world us full of people
who need a medic

who need to understand that they
are full of the sacred
that they are sacred

there is only one medicine that will work
one miracle remedy
it is not guilt
it is not judgment

we cannot scare
or legislate
or coerce and manipulate
people into wholeness
spiritually
physically
socially

we can only love
and love
and love again

and as we do
we thaw the sacred in them

and
joy
the sacred in ourselves as well

healer
heal your self!

OK! I think I will do that
