Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

What do you love?

What is it you want to change?
Your hair, your face, your body?
Why?

For God is
in love with all those things
and might weep
when they are
gone
                                                St. Catherine of Siena

loves alchemy
is indeed
a wondrous thing

which transforms the way
we see
the one before us
the world around us

love blinds us
shapes our thoughts
moves us

how we think and act
is determined
by love

it matters
what we love

a love of power or money
may blind us to need
and rob us of compassion

a love of people
may open our eyes to the beauty
of each person we see
to the presence of that hidden spark or
divinity

a love of people may cause us to open our hands
and our hearts
even our wallets
to help and heal

it matters what we love

someone once said

Love the Lord your God
And love your neighbor
As [and] yourself
