Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

The other side of gray

tears of God
fallen
heavily lay upon creation

the wetness clinging
weighing down
penetrating
the very earth

clouds like the mist of
pain and sorry
hover
brooding
like an anxious mother over
an afflicted child

but on the other side of
gray
the will sun shine and the mountain soar

the bent grass will lift itself joyfully to the light
and in the rain softened earth
the bright hued flowers will awaken
and expose
their true colors

soon the wind will blow
and move the trees and the grass
into sprightful liveliness
and all creation will dance

to the breath of God
