Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

The Odd Case of the Deranged Man

“Hello, sun in my face. Hello you who made the morning and spread it over the fields...Watch, now, how I start the day in happiness, in kindness.”
 Mary Oliver

who is this deranged man
steaming cup in hand
wandering in a tattered array
of pj bottoms, and cold sweatshirt
and wife hated crocs?

tiptoeing through still damp grass
watching as patiently the rising sun
unwraps the world
and spills out its plentiful bounty
carelessly
extravagantly

what is this wild exuberance
that rises in his chest
as the explosive beauty of a creation
crammed with Sacred energy

explodes within his chest?

tears of delight

Ruach
Spirit
the sacred
the breath of God
holding all of life
together
