Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

God as Verb

God must be understood as a verb, calling, informing and shaping us and all creation into being all that we were created to be….
John Spong, The Fourth Gospel: Tales of a Jewish Mystic

presence
it all comes down to presence

the sacred “tenting” inside these
rather fragile vessels
common clay

the stuff of earth

presence
sacred interwoven into
our very being
“verbing”

moving
loving
forgiving
giving
blessing
expanding
enriching
evolving
creating
restoring
reconciling
healing
re-creating

the arrival of sacred into this space
is not a matter of space invaders
some alien being choosing to come
into space
not sacred
from sacred

it was the revelation of sacred
within sacred

this earth is sacred space
we are sacred space
YHWH (for lack of a name)
“I AM” (you think we would have gotten the point)

is a presence
a force of nature
not only among us
but in us

verbing

sacred presence
never static
but moving
like the wind
