Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Weaving our stories

"It is absolutely crucial, therefore, to keep in constant touch with what is going on in your own life's story and to pay close attention to what is going on in the stories of others' lives. If God is present anywhere, it is in those stories that God is present. If God is not present in those stories, then they are scarcely worth telling."

__________________________

mindful
or
mind full?

present
or
unengaged?

how easy it is to go through life unaware
of self
of others
of the sacred

how easy it is to go through the routine
(what’s yours?)
of getting up
feeding horses
checking the computer
breakfast
coffee……

no!  wait!

coffee
breakfast
work
home
tv or book
walk
bed

rewind
do it again

but within that familiar plot
is written
our life story
and our life story touches other stories
and all of this
is in the context of the sacred
which gives us breath
and gives us The Breath

and so
and so, and so

it is
important
that we walk through each day
not so much with our minds full of the mundane
but mindful
of the Sacred Presence
and of our true selves
and of those around us

and where the ruach
the cosmic energy is blowing us

I want to weave a story
worth the telling!
