Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

The One Constancy

“I believe in kindness. Also in mischief. Also in singing, especially when singing is not necessarily prescribed.”
― Mary Oliver
___________________________________________

the song of the sacred
the song of life
is birthed deep
in that place where we are woven together with the Sacred

thus, no matter what trials and joy life may bring
it is the one constancy

and so, in the face of illness and death
we sing

when life caves in and we can no longer see the light
we sing

when the rain falls
or fails to come
we sing

in moments of celebration and hope
when joy abounds
we sing

sometimes we raise our voices

and sometimes our singing is silent
only a faint echo in the soul
