Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Be Still and Cool

Be still and cool in thy own mind and spirit from thy own thoughts and then thou wilt feel the principle of God to turn thy mind… thou wilt receive his strength and power from whence life comes to allay all tempests, against blusterings and storms.  That it is which molds up into patience, into innocency, into soberness, into stillness, into stayedness, into quietness, into God and God’s power.

warm wetness surrounds me
for the moment it is spring
and celebrations about

long silent birds appear
magically
singing a song of spring

searching the warm earth
for food

the brown grass contemplates
wondering if it is time yet
for greenness

the trees mindfully and quietly
awaken from their long sleep

through this misty world I walk
and am fed by this quiet coolness
finding stillness of soul

finding “stayedness”
secure
in Sacred love
