in the deep stillness of a summer afternoon
as the breeze stills
and the heat is thick

a quietude of soul comes
as enervated
we sit
and sip a drink

lazily watching
the clouds move by increments
through a leaden sky

contemplating nothing
we are
exactly where we need to be

it is a
Sacred moment
