Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

I to Myself

“If we will be quiet and ready enough, we shall find compensation in every disappointment.”
― Henry David Thoreau, I to Myself: An Annotated Selection from the Journal of Henry D. Thoreau

there are moments
ah, there are moments

when plans and expectations
disappear

they are simply gone

and you are left standing
in the mist
surrounded by vagueness

slightly embarrassed
at your predicament

and wondering
how you will ever
find your way

out of the
wasteland

but perhaps
perhaps
it is not a wasteland

perhaps if you sit quietly for a moment
and breathe
and watch carefully

you will find
that it is really
paradise
lost
