Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Springtime of the Soul

“Grace is the permanent climate of divine kindness; the perennial infusion of springtime into the winter of bleakness.”
― John O'Donohue, Divine Beauty: The Invisible Embrace
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

outside it is summer
flowers bloom
the grass greens

birds fill the space between the trees
with song

inside
this day
there is a touch of winter
of grayness

there is so much hate floating through the universe
too much death
and illness

that my soul is chilled

and yet there is grace
and the rising of the sun
reminds me of Sacred faithfulness
and Sacred Presence

and the eternal springtime
of
the
soul
