Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

I know you are tired

“I know you're tired but come, this is the way.”

i am pushed
kicking and screaming
into the day

my body protests
my mind complains

I know this
is Life

It is the way of joy and sorrow
“there are ten thousand joys and sorrows in every life” (Kornfield, A Lamp in the Darkness p.7)
and at one time or another
I will touch all of them

and my soul knows
(it is much wiser than the rest of me)
that my one job

my
one
job

is to weave all my life
for good or ill
for joy or sorrow
into the beautiful tapestry

that is
me
