Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Stretch out your roots

Be like a tree in God's garden
stretch out the roots deep enough
.... to absorb God's love

the tree is bent
beneath the weight of snow and ice
a few dead leaves
still remain on starkly
empty branches

yet beneath
the frozen ground
roots dive deep into the earth

seeking warmth and sustenance
seeking a spark of life

over and over again
death comes

how often
we too face
our demise
how often we erode
gradually fading until
it seems as though there is nothing left

and yet
if we stretch our roots out
deep enough
into Sacred Ground

we are fed
love flows

and over and over again
resurrection
