Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Grace is

“The grace of God means something like: Here is your life. You might never have been, but you are because the party wouldn't have been complete without you.”
― Frederick Buechner

life is a gift

it may not be for the faint of heart,
for dark and terrible things happen,
mistakes are made

but it is a gift!
and with life
comes love
and hope
and grace

grace is the brilliant blue and white of a winter’s morning
steam lifting off the river
in subzero cold

grace is a cat discovering Christmas trees
and chickens on the back deck

grace is deer bedded down
and then sharing a meal with the mares

grace is a smile
a touch

grace is a sense
that we are not alone
that we are never alone

grace is the place
where the Sacred touches us
with compassion and kindness

here is your life
you might never have been
but you are
that too
is
grace
