Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Darkness is an invitation

Darkness is an invitation to all of us to turn on the light
Laura Berman Frotang – The Little Book on Meaning
_____________________________________________________
this is a time of great darkness
to many forces that seem destructive and angry
appear to be winning

and it is easy to be overwhelmed
it is tempting
to hang out in the dark corners
hiding, brooding, lamenting, cursing,
perhaps (as in my case) sulking
and yet
the deeper the blackness
the more powerful the light
we are Sacred Children
we carry the light
it may be dim at times
and flicker, and
there are moments when we wonder
if the light is still there
Ah, believe it my friends,
the light is still there
now in this moment it is time
time to let it shine
it doesn’t take much
finding one thing for which to be grateful (the mountain)
finding one reason for hope (that person who refuses to give up on herself)
finding one thing in which to believe (love)
finding one thing to say that is positive
finding one person to help
Yes, this is a time of great darkness
too many forces that seem destructive and angry
appear to be winning
by I will chose one thing
this day
that is light
won’t you join me?
