Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Our Lives Bear our Signature

When we produce a thought, it bears our signature…
Right thinking is the thinking that goes along with understanding, compassion and insight…

Everything we say is also a product of our person… Our words can cause damage.  So with mindfulness we may enjoy producing only right speech, the kind of speech that goes along with understanding, compassion, joy, and forgiveness…

Our physical actions also bear our signature.  Whatever we do that helps protect life, helps people to suffer less, and expresses cur comprehension and compassion is a right action

right thoughts, produce
right words, produce
right actions

there is a beautiful simplicity here that we seem to have forgotten
we often try to start with action
we try to change out behaviors
but too much else is unchanged, leaving us angry and bitter

we try to control our words
but surprise!
they seem to have a life of their own

no, it all goes back to right thinking,
back past right thinking,
to where right thinking comes from

our hearts, our souls
to that place which makes us who we are
sometimes wonderful
sometimes terrible

that deep place, where Sacred dwells
is what shapes everything
and makes us who we are

it is that place that ultimately determines our actions

in the Bible it is written
you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength
indeed!

But how?

Jesus said (in essence)
Connect to the vine

which is the same as saying
keeping going to that place within
where Sacred dwells

your life is determined
from the inside
out
