Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

We know God by heart

It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.
― Rainer Maria Rilke

the clouds brood over the mountain
a gray oppressive presence
revealing only  glimpses
of a late snow

trees
frosted white
climb into the gloom
disappearing
merging into vagueness

the sun
denied
sending only fitful rays

into the darkness
they flare briefly, only to be overcome

and yet
in this brooding world
the Iris
unconquered dance

brilliant points of light
yellow and purple gems

creation remembering spring

so too our souls remember
they never forget
that life toward which our whole beings strive

and thus love and hope
unconquered
shine
brilliant points of light

we know resurrection
by heart
