Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Spiritual Work

For one human being to love another: that is perhaps
the most difficult of all our tasks, the ultimate, the
last test and proof, the work for which all other work
is but preparation.
                                           Rainer Maria Rilke

Love is not for the faint of heart
It is never easy

Faux love, that we can do
That immersion in emotion and hormones we call love

But really loving?
Love when the other is selfish?
Or angry?
Or drunk?

Loving involves cherishing the other, flaws and all
Loving when they do not do what we want
When we do not get what we want

loving when we are hurt
when we feel rejected and abandoned
when we feel unvalued

loving when we too, are all of the above

Think about it

This is the real work of Spirituality
This is the only work
This is it

And I will know I have made my way to that place
Where I can love….
(Ah yes, there are some people I have not been able to “love”…….
  There is work to do ).
