who have walked among us
who have changed the world
perhaps truly changed the world
perhaps just changed the world around
at time, have changed one life
here and there
they change the world because they are passionate!
Full of fire!
But what are they passionate about?
Ah
That is the turning point
It matters!
What they are passionate about
Jesus was passionate about love
So too Gandhi
Martin Luther King
Nelson Mandela
Some are passionate about God
This can be good or bad
Depending on what kind of God they believe in
What kind of God they have created
Mighty acts of love have been done in the name of God
So too, mighty acts of hate
Hospitals have been built in the name of God
Hospitals have been bombed in the name of God
Some people are passionate about power itself
That usually gets ugly
And others passionate about money
And in that passion lies so many of the pains
Of human kind
What is our passion?
What drives us!
Gets us up in the morning
Carries us through the day?
It matters!
