“Each time a breeze starts, I feel the air all the way
through me.”

There are times I feel hollow
empty
a void
and when the winds of life blow
cold and sharp
unyielding
I am chilled to the core
Hate and fear,
loathing and anger,
come my way
and for a moment
I feel defenseless
and yet deep within
an ember is fanned
and bursts into flame
illuminating
warming
and my soul warms itself
in the glow
of sacred presence
and once bent
I straighten
and walk into
the
wind
Not many comments Stephen. Do you care about that? I can see that writing in and of itself is fulfilling. But, it's good to know you're being heard. I enjoy checking your blog. It's . . . comforting? Your mind works differently than mine, but toward similar goals. KE
