The longest journey you will make in your life

Is from your head to your heart

it is not about knowledge

it is not about rules

it is not about theological constructs

it is about loving the Sacred

it is about letting the Sacred run rampant in your

heart

and your soul

grace

is a matter of the heart

so many of us know

we are loved by God

so many of us know (intellectually)

that we are valuable, unique

and yet

that has never made it from our heads

to our hearts

and so we struggle

and sit alone in the darkness

in the middle of the night

with our own personal demons

never having taken to heart

that we are loved

and truly

a child of God

Lord, slow our minds

quicken our hearts
