Many of us have made our world so familiar that we do not
see it anymore. An interesting question to ask yourself at night is, What did I
really see this day?”

in the vagueness of dawn
a smattering of clouds
lounge on the horizon
gray and wraithlike
lacking substance
and
life
waiting for the light
then
kissed by the sun
they begin to glow
reflecting
a glory not yet seem
then brighter still
now dazzling white
against brilliant blue
holding the presence of Sacred fire
O Sacred light
so touch my life
that I may reflect
the penetrating fire
of your presence
and
love
