I would like to beg you dear Sir, as well as I can, to
have patience with everything unresolved in your heart, and to try to love the
questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very
foreign language. Don’t search for the answers,
which could not be given to you now, because you not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday, far in the future, you
will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer.
Rainer
Maria Rilke –As quoted in Questions are the answer, David Hayward

question
there are so many questions
“why?” we ask
“why?” we lament
we desperately seek answers
we retreat to our formulas
seeking to resolve that which cannot be resolved
and then
in the quietness of our souls
often without notice
an answer comes
it may not be the answer we seek
or an answer we like
it may not even recognizable as an answer
for the answer
is mostly this
one thing
Sacred Presence
God with us
In the questions
that we might live our way
into
the
answer
