Every morning
Before I start thinking
The world is the lunatic’s sphere
By noon it is a sure thing
By sunset, it is time for despair
And yet
The sunrises golden, sending its rays racing through the
trees
And there are people who act kindly toward others
And there are people who resist evil
And after the head of the day
The Sacred one cools the globe
And the sun exits
Gloriously
And then I know that as much as this is
The wonderful, amazing sphere
Full of lunatics
And me
It is not
