the world is strangely quiet

there is no wind

no song of the owl

serenading the night

wishful thinking

which finds its way heavenward

and become a sort of prayer

hoping for

nay believing

in the stillness

in the great silence

which contain all the power of Sacred love

and in the frigid blackness

warm comes to the soul

and the heart rises

and one walks

not toward an abyss

but toward the noisy world

where there

are things

to do
