Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Squeezing drops of Sun

I know the voice of depression still calls to you

I know those habits that can ruin your life

still send their invitations

But you are with the Friend now and look

so much stronger.

You can stay that way even bloom!

Keep squeezing drops of the Sun….

You are with the Friend now.  Learn what

actions of yours delight Him,

what actions of yours bring freedom and

love….

O keep squeezing drops of the Sun from

Your prayers and work and music

and from your companions’ beautiful

laughter, and from the most insignificant

movements of your own holy body.  Now,

sweet one, be wise.

Cast all your votes for dancing!

Wise people know there is a time for tears

there is a time for tears of regret

a time when unbidden things from deep within,

when pain, and fear and all the dark forces,

well forth from our eyes

there is a time for tears of passion

when there is simply so much inside us

that we cannot contain

and they must spring forth like springs

of living water

a welling up

of love, and hope

compassion

there is a time for tears of joy

as we are surprised by

love

and grace ripens within us

and bursts forth

on this day as choices are made

and votes are cast

on this day as we carry within us

tears

of fear anguish

but also passion and expectation

let us allow the One

who wept on that hard rock

at that moment of decision in the garden

and abides within the hearts of each one of us

and weeps upon the sometimes hard rock

of our hearts

help us find our tears

may we feel, everything!

and be not afraid

and may the sun of righteousness rise

with healing in its wings (Malachi 4:2)

may it shine through our tears

a rainbow of hope

We are with the Friend

Sacred dwells within our hearts

So let us keep squeezing drops of the Sun from

our prayers and work and music

and from one another

and may we

wise with light and tears

Cast all our votes for dancing!
