I am a wanderer. I would say that I am a seeker, but sometimes I have no idea what I might be seeking, so I will stick with wanderer. This blog is more a public journal than anything. I don't claim to have life figured out. I simply stumble from mystery to mystery, and share my reflections along the way. Sometimes I feel burdened, and trudge. Sometimes? Well sometimes grace breaks through, and its time to dance.

Yield something of God
We should lean against each other more
In such a strange world as this
That can make you scared
And even believe in that life called death
We should support each other
Give more warmth
In such a demanding world as this
Let all movement
Gently yield something of God
Hafiz,
The Gift, Ladinsky Trans. P. 265

words of hate
scream from the computer
the television screen
people with anger
twisting their faces
spout fear
God hates you
The world is coming to an end
Satan is going to get you
There is a war against (whatever you happen to believe in or
value)
“They” are going to destroy all you hold dear (whomever “they”
are)
run
hide
protect
reject
exclude
destroy
it must be time for another “war” on something, or someone
or????
we could
just maybe
perhaps
breathe
connect with Sacred Presence
stop running
stop hiding
stop protecting
and rejecting and excluding
stop fearing
stop hating
perhaps we can
trust
love
accept
find community
and yield in our lives
something
of
God
