Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Grace, unexpected

" grace ... may fall upon
.... us anytime, ....
it has no rules, you see?

Some don't get it, after
rituals, ... vigils: ....
others asleep,
.... it hits suddenly! "

There we are
Working so hard,
Reading holy books
Praying
Participating in rituals

And
Frankly
We don’t feel a thing

Ok, self righteous perhaps
But for the most part it is business as usually

There we are trying so hard
Going to places of great beauty
Mountain tops
Deep forests
Beaching painted with gold at the sun set
Oh its nice
But grace does not strike

There we are
Its just an ordinary day
The sun came up
The chores were done
We went to work

Then in the most mundane of moments
Grace falls
in some ordinary moment we know
Sacred is there
We are loved
It will be
OK
