Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

sharing of the heart

“She had so much love to give - she had always felt that - and now there was somebody to whom she could give this love, and that, she knew, was good; for that is what redeems us, that is what makes our pain and sorrow bearable - this giving of love to others, this sharing of the heart.”
                              Alexander McCall Smith, In the Company of Cheerful Ladies

this is what redeems us
this is what gets us up in the morning, full
this is what moves us into our day, light

this is how we survive
all the hate and fear
the guns and the violence
the angry tweets
the lies

the wars looming

this is how we deal with the use and abuse of power
the cruelty and lack of compassion
that leaves people abandoned
and without help

we sing from the heart
we sing together
as one person

making it all

bearable
