Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Facing another Day

We become patient because we have to
There is no choice, the work is endless
Every day we have to make a choice
Will we give up or will we keep going?
                                                Margaret Wheatley

some mornings are difficult
no great calls from God appear
it is just another day

(a little Haiku for a Saturday)

Some mornings are in fact difficult
As you roll your legs out of bed
place them on the ground

you stare vacantly for a moment
and then you start to make your list
of things that must be done

tasks
burdens
duties

and your soul rebels
you flip the universe a finger
and then…..

get up anyway
and doggedly start on that first task
life
