Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

The Work of Prayer

“the real "work" of prayer is to become silent and listen to the voice that says good things about me.

To gently push aside and silence the many voices that question my goodness and to trust that I will hear the voice of blessing-- that demands real effort. ”

We are often told that we need to
Stop, Breathe, and Listen

Listen to the heart
Listen to the soul
Listen to
God

Many assume listening involves
Instruction
Challenge, and
Rebuke

Get up!
Get going!
Do this!
Stop doing that !

But in fact
Quite often
The small still voice at the center of our soul
Says simply

I love you
