Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

All that is love

“Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart.”
― Mahatma Gandhi

there is a part of us
that belongs to the Sacred

there is a part of us
that is Sacred

and from this part
which is infinitely precious
comes all that is right
and good

all that is just
and compassionate

all that is love

when we find that deep place
and give it voice
we pray

when our deep longing for love
and connection
for joy and hope
oozes forth
we pray

when we utter religious words
while hating
and judging
and neglecting the poor

it is just noise
