I am a wanderer. I would say that I am a seeker, but sometimes I have no idea what I might be seeking, so I will stick with wanderer. This blog is more a public journal than anything. I don't claim to have life figured out. I simply stumble from mystery to mystery, and share my reflections along the way. Sometimes I feel burdened, and trudge. Sometimes? Well sometimes grace breaks through, and its time to dance.

Be Still and Cool
Be still and cool in thy own mind and spirit from thy own
thoughts and then thou wilt feel the principle of God to turn thy mind… thou
wilt receive his strength and power from whence life comes to allay all
tempests, against blusterings and storms. That it is which molds up into patience, into
innocency, into soberness, into stillness, into stayedness, into quietness,
into God and God’s power.

warm wetness surrounds me
for the moment it is spring
and celebrations about
long silent birds appear
magically
singing a song of spring
searching the warm earth
for food
the brown grass contemplates
wondering if it is time yet
for greenness
the trees mindfully and quietly
awaken from their long sleep
through this misty world I walk
and am fed by this quiet coolness
finding stillness of soul
finding “stayedness”
secure
in Sacred love
