Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

The Sun Bursts Forth

the sun bursts forth
shattering the darkness
snow glows
in the early morning light

a golden sky bespeaks the coming day

and from all sides
the forest sings
as birds proclaim the glory
lest they explode

owls compete
with quail and killdeer
cross beaks and magpies
a cacophony of praise

and standing in a ray of sunlight
I cannot remain earthbound
my heart soars
with bright wings

my soul sings
refreshed
by Sacred extravagance
