Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Be kind to yourself

Hold yourself as a mother holds her beloved child
                                                                The Buddha
________________________________________

hold yourself gently
treat yourself with kindness

there is enough harshness
out there
there is enough unkindness

and we are so quick to judge everyone
even ourselves,
especially ourselves

we carry pain
everyone we meet carries pain
we are all carrying a burden of tears

there is such a need for compassion
and kindness

we need to cry for the pain of others
we need to cry for our own pain

for those tears are a gift
those tears speak

they say
“I am worthy of being loved,
You are worthy of being loved”

It all starts with being kind to ourselves
we need to hold in gentle hands our own
struggles and sorrows

for only then can we connect
and hold
the sufferings and sorrows
of those
the Beloved
places in our path
