Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Believe in Something

The universe I always speaking to us
Sending us little messages,
Coincidences and serendipities
Reminding us to stop, to look around
To believe in something else,
Something more

I am sometimes
In the desert
Brittle and cracked
Dry

Surrounded by hot red earth and rocks
It feels as if there is no way out
No solution

What am I supposed to do?
Get water from a stone?

But Sacred touch happens (Exodus 17)
And waters gush

Fresh and clear
Life giving

Even from the very rocks
Of fear and anger
Hate and selfishness and greed

Ah, the touches of Sacred along the way
Mountains touched by morning sun
Puppy enthusiasms
The taste of coffee on the tongue

The smile of one treasured
the dawning of understanding
in the eyes of one so long confused

the desert is profound
and there are rocks everywhere
but still
the water flows
Sacred touch abounds
God does crazy things
For
Even the undeserving
For even me

Its just the way God
IS
