Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Hope

Do not be sad. For God sends hope in the darkest moments.
The heaviest rain comes from the darkest clouds.

The dark clouds of hate and prejudice gather
Fear and greed rule the day
Lies abound
Weapons of death are bought
At the cost of life giving services

It is the day of the small man
With the small heart
And tiny mind

Who sells selfishness
Like a beer vendor at a rodeo

It seems impossible of that which
Is good to survive
Compassion, generosity, equality

And yes, love
Seemed destined to die

Smothered by the darkness

And yet

Cadillac does an ad that moves the heart
About us “carrying one another”
Cadillac!

People take to the streets
And demonstrate for love

A nation wakes up and says
“this abomination is NOT us!”
It is not!

And grace comes down
Like rain on an early spring day
And hope
blossoms
