Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Our prime purpose

“Our prime purpose in this life is to help others.
And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them.”
                                            Dalai Lama XIV

We are told it is all about the win

But of course

If someone wins, someone has to lose

If we are lucky
If our souls are healthy
We will get tired of all the winning

For we will see the cost
We will see the hurt caused by our need
To dominate
Our need to hug everything to ourselves
And keep ourselves
Oh so safe

And understand that we cannot only help ourselves
But must also give

We cannot merely win
But also lose
Not only be protective and closed
But also vulnerable and open

Being a person who serves others
Is often painful
And sometimes we give pieces of ourselves away
But we were created to help each other

Otherwise,

Why?
