Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

anything can happen

Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts.
Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts.
Listen to the never haves,
then listen close to me...
Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.”
                                                          Shel Silverstein

There are those who would drag us into the house of fear
The place of limitations

There are those who would convince us that everyone is our enemy
And that all our lives we must protect ourselves
From “them”

There are those who would suggest we are not enough
And that we must constantly prove ourselves
That we must earn love
The love of God
The love of others

There are those who would
Would tell us that life is all about following the rules
You must
You Should
You can’t

They are wrong

That person there
Yes, that one there, who has a different color skin
Speaks a different language
Follows a different creed.
Embraces a different ideology

That one is your brother, or sister
A Sacred Child

That person in the mirror
Yes, that one there, with all those flaws
With all those mistakes littering the past

That one is loved by God
More than he (or she) can even imagine

And life?
Life is not about rules.
It is not about power
It is not about wealth
It is not about accumulation, or safety, or influence

It is about seeing the sun kiss the mountain in the morning
It is about the beauty of the clouds, roiling in the sky
It is a dog leaping in the snow
A horse nuzzling your back
And the smile on the face of a person who loves you

It is about joy
And laughter
And music, and dancing

It is about love
And where there is love
Anything can happen, anything can be
