Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

God, in All Things

It was easy to Love God in all that was beautiful
The lessons of deeper knowledge, though,
Instructed me to embrace God
In all things
                                St. Francis of Assisi

The sun slowly rises
over jagged devils
which outline the horizon
like the teeth of some crazed creature

pale light
multiplies
as it shines on the crystalline peak
which hovers like a protective mother
sheltering

the trees carry the freshly fallen snow like
gifts in the arms of
a shopper laden with the gifts
of love

it is easy O God to see you
in all this
and to love

but give me eyes
that see you too in the pain etched faces
of the ill
the hopeless faces
of those battered by life
the vague and blurry faces
of those controlled by addiction

help me see your presence
in the midst of fear and anger

and remind me that wherever I go
whomever I am with
there
are
YOU

there is
LOVE
