Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Point of Light

“Look at how a single candle can both defy and define the darkness.”
                                                                                                ― Anne Frank

In the darkness of early morning
all is undefined
is there snow, or rain
sun or grayness

even the familiar landmarks
are hiding in the depths of the dark curtain
that is the night

we know we are there
but sadly, sometimes
and gladly, sometimes
we can’t see them

and then
one candle
one sliver of light

and the world
with all its beauty and ugliness emerges

there is no choice
in the light
what is
is

and we have two choices
we can deny and fight
or we can accept and welcome

the choice is there
endless war
or reconciliation
