Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Here I Stand

“Sometimes I need
only to stand
wherever I am
to be blessed.”
― Mary Oliver
______________________________

I stand in the road
my mind swirls with all that must be done
and undone

the wind blows
and the clouds race
seeking the far horizon

junipers sway
their berries subtly nesting
among the dusky branches

I need to move
to go somewhere
any where

so much to do
so little time

and then I look down
and there in the fading sunlight
the first buttercup of spring

and so I stand
where I am
and all creation comes to me
