I am a wanderer. I would say that I am a seeker, but sometimes I have no idea what I might be seeking, so I will stick with wanderer. This blog is more a public journal than anything. I don't claim to have life figured out. I simply stumble from mystery to mystery, and share my reflections along the way. Sometimes I feel burdened, and trudge. Sometimes? Well sometimes grace breaks through, and its time to dance.

The Infinite Yes
“I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping
greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything
which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.”
― E.E. Cummings

sometimes it feels like we live in a world of “no”
flowers wither
and the trees become barren
snow falls
the earth freezes
people hate and kill
liars abound
evil seems to flourish
and fear grows
and yet if we open our eyes to
the world around us
to the signs of beauty which abound
to fresh fallen snow
and baby’s smile
the laughter of children
and the glances of lovers
and open our selves to the beauty within
to the presence of the sacred with calms
and soothes
and reminds us that we are loved
and with all others participate in infinite good (if we
would only see)
then the world becomes
everything that is “yes”
