Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

Where is the Life?

“The endless cycle of idea and action,
Endless invention, endless experiment,
Brings knowledge of motion, but not of stillness;
Knowledge of speech, but not of silence;
Knowledge of words, and ignorance of the Word.
All our knowledge brings us nearer to our ignorance,
All our ignorance brings us nearer to death,
But nearness to death no nearer to God.
Where is the Life we have lost in living?
Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge?
Where is the knowledge we have lost in information?
The cycles of Heaven in twenty centuries
Bring us farther from God and nearer to the Dust.”
― T.S. Eliot

______________________________________

where do we find life?
from whence comes knowledge?

we are the strivers
who frantically pursue
who voraciously consume

we seek to fill
to satiate

it must be out there
somewhere

that one thing that will bring us wisdom
that will connect us to the center of all
perhaps even to God

yet for all our striving we remain
strangely empty

knowledge we have
information we have
life is often strangely missing
wisdoms fades and disappears

for it is not out there
and all our striving is in vain
if we do not understand that the answer is within

in the stillness
in the silence
of our souls
