I am a wanderer. I would say that I am a seeker, but sometimes I have no idea what I might be seeking, so I will stick with wanderer. This blog is more a public journal than anything. I don't claim to have life figured out. I simply stumble from mystery to mystery, and share my reflections along the way. Sometimes I feel burdened, and trudge. Sometimes? Well sometimes grace breaks through, and its time to dance.

let it go
When the mind wants to break its link with the world
It still holds on to one thing
Kabir
(quoted by J Kornfield, A Path With Heart, p. 104)
“Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and
you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
Jesus
(Mark 10)

If we would be
people of the Spirit
we must leave all behind and
follow
I don’t believe Sacred
wants us to be miserable
I just think there are so many things
that cause us lose our original connection
these are the things we can’t let go of!
thus we are called to release
anything we are too attached to
anything more important that the Sacred
anything that blinds us to the way of the Sacred
anything that hurts us
anything that causes us to hurt others (for some the hate of Muslims or the idea
that we can love God by hating others)
anything that keeps us from seeing things and addressing
things that really need to be seen and addressed (denial)
we might even need to let go (I know I do)
of our belief that we are “not enough”
all those thoughts of being deficit, worthless, ruined,
hopeless
“what is left?” you might ask
everything
