Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

The Foolish, Sacred, Way

Deep within we long for unity because, at the most fundamental level, we are already one. We belong to one another because we have the same source of love

in the beginning was the One
Radical Unity
The Sacred
God
The Beloved

and from that one flowed
all of creation
the universe
this sphere on which we live
trees and flowers
birds and beast

and us
all of us
the good, and the bad,
all genders
all races
all cultures
all

we share
a common origin
we share the Sacred Presence
we are connected

fear can disrupt our unity
so it seems
can many other things

but when we hate
and judge and exclude
we violate
the One who is
The Source

the call of the one who is love
is to see each other
with the eyes of Love
with eyes
that see that in each person
the Sacred dwells

that each one,
clean, dirty
sober, or not
educated, or not
Republican or Democrat

is part of us
and we are part of them
Sacred children
united

this is not easy
it seems like foolishness
it is scary
and risky
and we might, we will, get hurt

indeed

but the way of the one,
who most clearly reflects The One,
always did teach such foolishness
as a way
of
life

as the way
to
life
