Welcome

Primitive religion is not believed, it is danced!

Arthur Darby Nock

Earth's crammed with heaven,
And every common bush afire with God;
And only he who sees takes off his shoes;
The rest sit round it and pluck blackberries.

The heart is an eternal nomad

There is a driving restlessness in the human heart.
Though our bodies maintain an outer stability and consistency, the heart is
an eternal nomad.
                                                                                John O’Donohue, Eternal Longing, Prologue
______________________________________________________________

restless hearts abound
souls
wander in the wilderness
seeking home

a place of belonging

there is longing
and belonging

we need both the journey
and resting place

without the longing
we become empty and cold

without belonging we are
“aimless and haunted”

Sacred is both that which drives us forward
and that which gives us rest

and in this divine balance
we move from isolation
to intimacy

into
a holy trinity
of God
and self
and others
where we are “embraced, and seen
and loved”

and where we are free to roam again
eternal nomads
only to return
again
